Child killer 'murdered' in prison

23 February 2011 Last updated at 11:06 Police are investigating the suspected murder of child killer Colin Hatch at one of Britain's most secure prisons.

Hatch, 38, died following an incident at the maximum-security Full Sutton prison near York on Tuesday, the Ministry of Justice said.

He was jailed for life in 1994 after being convicted of killing a seven-year-old boy while on parole for a previous child sex attack.

Hatch's killing is being investigated by Humberside Police.
